This is Granliden - our old summer place. A small cabin that my grandfather built in 1955 and the location on where the wool for the famous Granliden Mittens was dyed with forest plants and vegetables in 1982. We don't own this place any more, and in my mind the memories of Granliden has begun to take on mythical proportions... I took this polaroid on one of my little secret visits to the dearest place I know.
The market was great! Not that I did sell much there and then, but just meeting and talking to all these people was extremely rewarding. And after the market, things has started to happen in my shop! "Skvattram" seems to be the most popular colour at the moment...
Now I will spend the rest of the evening packing orders :)
See more pictures from the market at Fine Little Day.
And one more thing, I just found the mittens on this lovely blog!
My webshop is now updated with some new (but old) colours of Granliden mittens - all in all 12 colours! And there's more to come, predominantly diffrerent shades of brown...
Coming up: UPMARKET!
Friday to Sunday 12 - 18 at Trädgårdsföreningen in Göteborg.
Be there or be square (though it's hip to be square).
Yesterday, we went to Dödens ö (Isle of the Dead)... Had coffee there.
